PUBLICITY - FLYERS Updated.

Members are invited to download and print these flyers for display at exhibitions organised by their clubs, or where they may be showing or assisting with layouts.  As the subscription and contact details on the flyer are subject to change please download and print out when needed rather than keeping stocks.  The current version is issue 13, dated Nov. 2008. Please do not hand out old flyers as the membership rates will be out of date.

The flyers are intended to be printed on both sides of A4 paper, and folded in half to make A5 leaflets. Use the 'print current page' option for each page pair in turn, printing on landscape.  The flyer now includes the 'What is MERG' pages making an eight page leaflet.  Download them here:   Flyer-13
The front page of the flyer is in colour, and as such is the more eye-catching. However, it will print in black and white if needed.

Your help in publicising the Group and its activities is appreciated. Should you be unable to print flyers off, or require more than you feel able to produce, please contact the Publicity Officer at least a month before the event for which the flyers are required.

The celebration cake.
MERG celebrated its 40th anniversary at the meeting at Keen House on April  28th. 2007.  A full house of 50 or so members enjoyed talks by Simon Kohler of Hornby and by member Howard Amos. Member no.1, John Down added some reminiscences of the early days. Simon Kohler cut the cake shown above and members raised glasses of champagne to the next 40 years. Additional photos via this link.

SUBSCRIPTION RENEWALS

Please help the Treasurer by stating your membership number when you pay your subscription.
eg.  2467smith
Over two thirds of the payments by standing order and BACS do not have this detail.  With 900 members, it adds a huge amount of work especially when there is more than one member with the same surname.
